The undefeated Crimson may have diminished hopes in the Bound for Glory Series following Thursday night’s IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV.  While talking to camera crews about an interference from Samoa Joe during Crimson’s match with World Champion Kurt Angle, the undefeated BFG Series contender was blindsided by an obviously angered Samoa Joe.  During the course of the altercation, Crimson suffered a severe apparent injury to his ankle and was immediately tended to by medical staff.  In addition, a member of the production team filming the incident was treated for a concussion following Joe’s meltdown.

While Crimson is currently seeking the advise of trainers and doctor’s on the leg injury, it is unsure how the incident will effect his performance or his Bound For Glory Series run.  Crimson was not immediately available to comment on his condition while his attacker seems to be more than vocal.

In a tweet from his official twitter account Thursday night, Samoa Joe retorted : “Really upset I forgot to make a wish at the end of impact. #detroyingligaments” – his “#destroyingligaments” comment is an apparent swipe at Crimson’s popular usage of his phrase “#DestroyingLives” in his tweets.

We asked Joe about his actions as he prepared to fly home from Orlando.  Gloating, Joe remarked “I said I would take them out one at a time – and I am.  If people around here want to hold me back – then I’ll take their golden children down with me.  That snap I heard in Crimson’s leg was gratifying.  The carnage is just beginning!”

IMPACTWRESTLING.com hopes to have more on this developing situation in the coming days…

This week’s show starts off with Kurt Angle’s comments from a few weeks ago when he said that he was going to take care of the young talent and keep the company from Dixie Carter. We then go to Crimson’s comments from last week.

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. Angle tells Crimson that he is calling him out this week since Crimson called him out last week. Crimson makes his way to the ring and he is still showing the scars from the attack a few weeks ago. Angle says that Crimson asked him for a match last week and he was impressed with the way that Crimson carried himself. He says that either Crimson has balls or he is a complete jackass. He says that a few months ago he was known as ‘Red’s Little Brother’, but after this match tonight, he will be known as a somebody and Angle wants credit for that. Angle says that Crimson wants to be more than that. Angle says that he is going to make Crimson famous. He will end Crimson’s streak and his career. Angle says that is the price for disrespecting him. Crimson says that Angle disrespected him two weeks ago when he attacked him from behind and tried to break his leg. Angle wonders why he has to respect Crimson because he is a nobody. Crimson says that he has no problem earning Kurt’s respect tonight. He tells Kurt to start taking out the young guys on the roster and to start with him. Crimson says that when he is still standing at the end of the match, he will earn Angle’s respect.

Immortal’s music plays and Abyss, Bully Ray, Gunner, Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, and Karen Jarrett make their way to the ring. Angle wants to know what is going on. Ray wants to know if Crimson is serious. He reminds Crimson that he is talking to Kurt ‘Fricken’ Angle, an Olympic Gold Medalist. He is the World Champion. Angle stops Ray and he tells Ray to let him handle this himself. Angle tells Immortal if they get involved in his match tonight, especially Jarrett, they will have a problem. Angle tells Crimson that it is time to make him famous. Angle leaves the ring but Crimson stays in the ring and stands in there with Immortal.

Bound For Glory Series: Crimson vs Gunner vs Bully Ray vs Scott Steiner

The referee gets in front of Immortal and tells them that two have to get out. Bully Ray starts off and circles Crimson, but tags out to Gunner before making contact, and Crimson overpowers Gunner and runs him over with clotheslines and a big backdrop. Crimson with a three quarter nelson and kneestrikes to the head, followed byh a neckbreaker for 2. Crimson charges Gunner in the corner and Gunner gets his elbow up and hits a running clothesline for 2. Now Bully Ray wants the tag, and he comes in just as Crimson gets to his feet, again circles him reluctantly, and tags out to Steiner. Steiner just unloads on Crimson with heavy right hands, then hits an overhead release suplex for 2. Steiner with the elbowdrop and pushups, then hangs Crimson on the ropes so Gunner can choke him from the outside. Steiner puts the boots to Crimson and tags Gunner so they can give Crimson a double suplex for 2. Gunner and Steiner continue to double team Crimson, but Crimson takes Steiner out with a flying clothesline and then rams Gunner into Bully Ray, knocking him off the apron, and rolls Gunner up for the win.

Winner: Crimson

Crimson immediately ducks out to the entry ramp before Immortal can lay him out, and Kurt Angle runs out and nails Crimson, takes off his shoe and beats him with it, then rolls Crimson into the ring and repeatedly drills him in the head. Angle pulls off Crimson’s knee brace and now beats him with that, then waits for him to get to his feet and lays him out with it before hanging Crimson over the second rope to the outside of the ring, and locks him in a really nasty looking leglock in the ropes as we go off the air.
